Overview

Kenac® Tablets contain Diclofenac Potassium, a potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. 💊


Composition

  • Kenac Tablet 50mg: Each tablet contains 50 mg of Diclofenac Potassium.

Pharmacodynamics

Indications

Kenac® is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Mild to moderate pain 🤕
  • Pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis 🔥
  • Post-operative pain management in dental and orthopedic surgeries 🦷🦴
  • Painful inflammatory conditions in gynecology (e.g., primary dysmenorrhea) 🩸
  • Migraine and acute severe pain 🌩️

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity to Diclofenac or other NSAIDs. ❌
  • Patients with a history of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
  • Severe coronary artery disease. ❤️

Precautions

  • Diclofenac should not replace corticosteroids or be used to treat corticosteroid-related conditions.
  • Monitor liver function tests as hepatic effects may occur. 🧪
  • Monitor for signs of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, especially in patients with a history of such conditions.
  • Caution is advised in patients with pre-existing conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, or renal impairment.
  • Regular monitoring of hemoglobin and hematocrit levels is recommended in long-term users. 📊

Warnings

  • Cardiovascular Risks: Increased risk of thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke. ⚠️

Pregnancy and Lactation

Dosage and Administration
